The quality and purity of the herbs is of the utmost importance to Classical Pearls. The potency of the formulas and single herbs — and the efficacy of your treatments — depend on this notion.

In the modern world, our daily lives have been contaminated by chemical processes, pesticides, pollution, foreign substances, and the presence of electromagnetic fields: the water we drink and swim in; the food, supplements, and medications we ingest; the day-to-day life in which we exist. At Classical Pearls, we go to extraordinary lengths to source the purest possible ingredients.

Classical Pearls has established relationships with farmers, growers, wild-crafters and distributors of crude herbs in China and other parts of South Asia who have been carefully vetted to ensure that planting, growing, and harvesting procedures are in accordance with our mission. Soil quality and cultivation practices are monitored to meet the highest standards possible, and rigorous testing procedures are used during processing and manufacturing to ensure safety and efficacy of the formulas and single herbs.

In addition, much research has gone into the sourcing of the appropriate locale, proper growing and harvesting procedures (didao), and the traditional processing (paozhi) of the herbs used in the Classical Pearls line of products. It is therefore one of the declared goals of Classical Pearls to maximize medicinal effectiveness by selecting materials that 1) stem from their traditionally specified growing regions, 2) have been grown and harvested in accordance with time-honored techniques, and 3) have undergone paozhi processing to increase their therapeutic potential.
